Firstly, and most importantly - if you use WordPress, Shopify, or CloudFlare, or any other CMS that EZY supports - please use the CMS integration. EZY Connect can be thought of as a "backup" option if you do not use a CMS that EZY already supports.
The EZY Connect:
- Allows you to track how your website and brand appear across AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and other large language models.
How EZY Connect Works
Once installed, EZY Connect enables:
- AI mention tracking
- Brand citation monitoring
- Prompt coverage analysis
- Visibility scoring
- Domain verification
- Real-time AI performance analytics
- Tracks every AI agent and user visit to your website
The EZY Connect allows EZY.ai to associate AI responses with your verified website. With EZY Connect, your AI visibility data becomes attributable and accurate.
When Should I Use EZY Connect?
- Use EZY Connect if you're on a custom site
- Use the CMS integration if available
- Use EZY Connect when you want tracking first, then add automation later

What Happens After Connection?
Once verified, EZY.ai begins tracking:
- Where your brand appears in AI responses
- Which prompts trigger your domain
- Citation frequency
- Competitive comparison
- Visibility trends over time
No changes are made to your site.
EZY Connect exists solely to enable accurate AI monitoring.
The EZY Connect Limitations
We created bespoke CMS integrations for full website autonomy. This means, using a CMS integration- you can easily upload your Robots, LLMs.txt and inject Schema and Meta Data across multiple website pages automatically. However, due to the security limitations of a JavaScript snippet- we do not allow the JavaScript snippet (EZY Connect) to make changes to your website (link here to blog on JS Snippets).
Allowing a JavaScript (or JS) Snippet to make changes to your website is a bit of a false promise- because those changes made will not be reflected for LLMs.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does EZY Connect change my site?
- No. EZY Connect does not change your website content or layout. It adds a small script so EZY.ai can verify the domain and track AI visibility and referrer activity accurately.
- Can I use it with any website?
- Yes. EZY Connect works with any website where you can add a script to the site header or footer, including custom sites and most CMS platforms.
- What do I miss compared to the WordPress integration?
- With EZY Connect you mainly get tracking and verification. The WordPress integration is more automated because it can push changes directly into your site, for example publishing or updating technical files and on-page elements without a developer.
