But they have a major blind spot that is costing them traffic. Enter Skool’s first problem: They have no llms.txt file.
Why this matters for SPAs
Skool is a Single Page Application (SPA). It relies entirely on client-side rendering (JavaScript) to show content. This means most AI Agents (like ChatGPT or Perplexity) see a blank page or a login wall because they don't execute complex JavaScript.
Adding a simple llms.txt file would create a static, plain-text map that AI Agents can read instantly, bypassing the rendering issues. Plain text files do not require JavaScript execution, meaning AI Agents can consume the entire file in milliseconds.
By simply creating an llms.txt file, fully populated with key information about your website, products, services, and company, you grant LLMs access to your core data, even if your site is an SPA. This is vital because most modern web applications are built this way. Many popular platforms, including those from builders like Wix and Squarespace and Godaddy, inherently create these dynamically rendered sites.
